CATTLE
The Market Cattle SAE is an 8-9 month project commitment. Students will raise a market steer/heifer to market readiness aprox. 1,250-1,400lbs. Students will be in charge of feeding, watering, weighing, and handling the animal during this time.
The student will work collectively with his/her project advisor to ensure the animal's health requirements are met and will consult a licensed veterinarian when needed.
