The Market Swine SAE is an 4-5month project commitment. Students will raise a market hog to market readiness aprox. 250-300lbs. Students will be in charge of feeding, watering, weighing, and handling the animal during this time. The student will work collectively with his/her project advisor to ensure the animal's health requirements are met and will consult a licensed veterinarian when needed.
