Our Story
The El Capitan FFA Chapter was formally established in 1971 and chartered by the California FFA Association and National FFA Organization the following Year. State Chapter #349 & National Chapter 318.
Throughout the decades, FFA and agriculture education has been rich in the area. With chapter names changing and moving, the founding of new chapter and loss of old.

Unknown Year-1929
Grossmont FFA was founded.

1929-1930
Grossmont FFA changed to El Cajon Valley FFA
​
1975-1976
El Cajon- Valhalla FFA was Founded
​
1972-1973
El Capitan - Lakeside FFA officially became a chartered chapter apart of the California FFA Association
​
1980
El Cajon Valley FFA lost its charter and chapter was dropped.
